Hosted at the Hillside Forum – Gallery On The Hill in Daikanyama, Tokyo. This specific dual-exhibition launch was accompanied by the publication of Goldberg’s first dedicated art book, Heartview, published by 18 Montañas de Oro.
The challenge:
The sound design for the Heartview Art Exposition serves as an autonomous curatorial layer, meticulously crafted to transform the physical art gallery into a fully immersive, multi-sensory environment
The Vision & Concept:
Rather than using generic background audio, the exposition features a dedicated spatial soundtrack composed entirely by electronic and experimental artist Jorge Govea. The audio layout is structurally conceptualized around basic elemental themes—air, space, water, wood (bois), depth, and the concept of "as above so below". It is designed to mimic a physical "auditorium" within the gallery, guiding the visitor's intuition and sensory focus as they move past Alejandro Goldberg's large-scale
The soundscapes fluidly balance moments of deliberate silence, heavy texture, and gentle melody to echo the energetic brushwork of the paintings.
The final result is a deeply human, tactile sonic experience that forces the listener to disconnect temporarily from the outside world, creating a tight artistic dialogue between visual perception and pure sound
